Suubi Medical centre train travels across the 9 villages in Bulamagi Sub county taking basic medical care to underserved communities. The Suubi Medical Community Health Initiatives delivers healthcare, education, medical screening and treatment to rural communities.

We have helped to: Prevent and treat various illnesses. Together we are improving mother and child survival through the work of our midwives and we have been promoting immunisation.

In Busu village our impact has:  included a school health program run by nurses and clinical officers from Suubi Medical centre . Boreholes and rainwater systems were installed at the medical centre , which improves hygiene and enables vegetable growing to assuage hunger and improve nutrition.

Other projects: include health education; home gardening; nutritional supplements; immunisation; improving water sources and toilets; and maternity care. Dental care camps and support for disabled people in Busu and the surrounding villages
